Temporal bone - The temporal bones (os temporales) are situated at the sides and base of the skull. Each consists of five parts: the squama, the petrous, mastoid, and tympanic parts, and the styloid process.
Zygomatic bone - The zygomatic bone (also known as the zygoma; Os Zygomaticum; Malar Bone) is a paired bone of the human skull. It articulates with the maxilla, the temporal bone, the sphenoid bone and the frontal bone.
Cavernous sinus - The cavernous sinus is a large channel of venous blood creating a "sinus" cavity bordered by the sphenoid bone and the temporal bone of the skull. The cavernous sinus contains the carotid artery, its sympathetic plexus, the oculomotor, trochlear, and abducens nerves.
Styloid process - In anatomy, a styloid process is any slender, pointed process (protrusion) of a bone. The temporal bone of the skull and the radius and ulna of the lower arm all have styloid processes.
